Dr. Aracely Cadena-Garza was born and raised in Miguel Aleman, Tamaulipas, Mexico. She graduated from University of Texas Pan American in 2002 with Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. In 2006, she received her Medical Degree from University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Dr. Cadena-Garza obtained her medical training in Family Medicine at Christus Spohn Memorial Hospital in Corpus Christ in 2009. In 2015, she joined Donna Day and Night Clinic where she is grateful to be part of exceptional team
Mr. Sustaita is a native from Donna, Texas and graduated from South Texas High School for Health Professions in 1988. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1988-1992 as a medical laboratory technician. In 1997 he obtained his bachelor of science in nursing from the University of Texas Pan American (UTPA) and worked as a registered nurse in telemetry for a local hospital.
In 2004, he graduated with a master in science as a family nurse practitioner also from UTPA. He worked for a local community health care center providing medical services for migrant and indigent families. In 2005 he joined Donna Day and Night Clinic in which he continues to provide health care services to the local community.
Monica Gonzalez was born in McAllen, Texas. In 2000 she attended The University of Texas Pan-American where she obtained her Bachelors in Biology. Shortly after she re-enrolled at UTPA and obtained her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies.
In 2008 she joined Donna Day and Night Clinic where she continues to grow in the field of medicine by providing quality care to the local community..
Monica M. Javier was born in McAllen, TX and raised in Pharr, TX. After graduating high school, she entered UTPA. She graduated with Bachelor’s Degree in Science, double majoring in biology and psychology. Her passion for health care grew as she began volunteering at local hospitals and shadowing physicians as local clinics. With an increased interest in medicine and patient care, Monica decided to pursue her career further as a Physician Assistant.
In 2010, Monica entered UTPA’s PA program. Shortly after, she graduated with Honors obtaining her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies in 2012. Monica chose to stay and work in the Rio Grande Valley to serve in her local community.
Medicine is field Monica greatly values, and is pleased to be working with an exceptional team of health care providers striving to provide excellent patient care.
Sergio Reyes Jr was born in McAllen, Texas. After graduating high school he entered UTRGV where he earned a degree in biology with minors in chemistry and psychology. His interest in the medical field grew when he shadowed for many hours in specialized fields such as orthopedics and oncology. He wanted to be in a field where he could care for his patients and make a difference so he applied to the Physician Assistant program and was accepted at UTRGV.
In 2012 he graduated from the program obtaining a Master Degree in Physician Assistant Studies. Shortly after graduating he worked in the specialized field of endocrinology specializing in diabetes management. He then went on to work in internal medicine where he continues to work today with a great team putting patients first and providing the best health care possible. He Joined Donna Medical right after graduation.
